Middle School
Grades 6-8
Students typically start Middle School at age eleven. Links are made between different areas of the curriculum and learning in the context of the real world. Creative and critical thinking is encouraged in Junior School. Subjects also become more specialized as students begin to develop interests in specific subject areas and extracurricular skills e.g. sports, drama and music.
Students will have special educational needs of some form during their educational journey. ICS believes that with targeted support and early intervention, most students are able to make significant progress, which enables them to return to regular classes at their grade level.
